What’s this?!

We started bitter melon 3 separate times in our seed room and eventually had enough viable starts to move them to the high tunnel, much too late in the season. However, the vines seemed interested in growing (albeit apathetically) and we were interested in seeing what would happen (which means we were too busy to pull them out). But bitter melons in October?! Sure, there are only two, but these are soooo cooooool!!! Makes me think we should focus our attention on growing curious things…
